THROWN BLACK & FEMALE

 I named my blog Thrown Black and Female because this is how I find myself here in the world. Being both a black and female all at once, without choice, 20 something years in 2021. If I could choose I'd still chose to be me, cause I'm fantastic (flips hair).

In all seriousness the way I perceive the world, the way I act in it, is always through my lens of experience, and my writing will reflect this perspective too. There's no way to control it so I'm letting you know now.

Please note that my aim is not to write about racialized topics, but I hope to write one or two... My aim here is to share all the ways of which I am practicing self reflection, cultivating a growth mindset, exercising my faith, and pursuing life long learning.

And OF COURSE I'm gonna share my love of plants, and plant care.
